British Columbia Expands EAB Regulated Areas
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency expanded the regulated areas for EAB in July 7, 2025 following detections in the City of Surrey.

Oregon EAB Quarantine Takes Effect
The Oregon Department of Agriculture adopted a permanent quarantine on OAR 603-052-1075 on December 6, 2023. The quarantined area was updated to include five counties in 2025.
