Community scientists in Point Defiance

Let us Grow your Legacy

Give to the WSU Urban Forest Health Lab

Let us grow your legacy through a gift that will:

  • train and empower future leaders,
  • enable tree health research and problem solving,
  • safeguard agriculture and natural resources,
  • engage more people and students in ecological research, and
  • enhance the resiliency of urban forests and communities.

Private gifts are especially helpful because they provide flexibility in spending. For example, we have 20 community scientists measuring redcedar trees each week and they’ve requested more tools and tool belts, which is outside of the scope of our current grants. Its a great story in the making, but wouldn’t be possible without some flexible funding to support these types of community science projects.
